Back for More Books with Peggy Bonnington

Although second in the Basic Bookmaking workshop series and building on skills and terminology already introduced, this class will also accommodate those new to book arts. Beginners are welcome! DAC artist Peggy Bonnington will continue with previously introduced concepts – essential book forms, techniques, vocabulary, and tools – with additional tips and strategies to help you refine and expand your growing book arts skills. Examples of completed structures will be available to illustrate details discussed and provide ideas and inspiration.

You can build a level of confidence and ease with the pamphlet stitch and accordion fold books, but we will add new forms such as star books, flag books, and others. Again, quality papers and materials will be provided to make choices for completing at least two small books of your own.
