About the event
The Downtown Artists Co-op is proud to be part of a bold new public art initiative transforming downtown Clarksville. In partnership with the City of Clarksville, the Clarksville Arts and Heritage Council, ArtLink, and Drafts by Ola, Concrete in Color will turn the First Street Parking Garage stairwells into a vibrant, floor-by-floor public gallery — 16 murals across 16 landings, each a 9×9-foot canvas celebrating local artistic talent.
Part of Clarksville's Summer Celebration of the Arts, this project is exactly the kind of creative placemaking that makes our community worth showing up for — and yes, the stair climbing is part of the experience.
