About the event
In celebration of Earth Month, DAC presents Down to Earth: Celebrating Mother Nature, a group exhibition curated by artist and environmental advocate Lisa “LAH” Harden. The show honors the natural world as both muse and message, highlighting the artistry of Mother Nature through creative expression.
Featuring 2D and 3D works inspired by flora, fauna, landscapes, and the elements, the exhibition showcases art made with eco-conscious materials, fiber arts, nature-inspired palettes, and other innovative approaches that reflect our connection to the Earth.
Down to Earth also creates space for reflection and dialogue around urgent environmental issues, including climate justice, biodiversity loss, deforestation, the future of public lands, and the need for sustainable energy solutions. Together, these works celebrate Earth’s beauty while honoring our shared responsibility to protect it.
