About the event
Jane Olson is a Tennessee-born artist whose creative journey began with a single watercolor class in 2015 — a moment that sparked a deep and lasting passion for painting. A graduate of Vanderbilt University with a background in Art History, Jane brings a thoughtful, studied eye to her work, informed by a lifelong appreciation for the visual arts.
Rooted in the luminous, fluid qualities of watercolor, Jane has expanded her practice to embrace collage and mixed media, weaving together texture, color, and form in ways that reflect both spontaneity and intention. Her work invites viewers to experience the world through a lens shaped by curiosity and a love of materials.
Jane Olson is a valued member of the Downtown Artist Co-op. Her paintings and mixed media works are currently on display at Casa D'Italia, one of our outreach galleries serving the broader community.
