About the event
Learn the beautiful and approachable art of Japanese stab binding, a bookbinding style dating back to Japan's Edo period (1602-1867).
We'll begin with the classic 4-Hole Binding (Yotsume Toji) and may explore more intricate stitch patterns, including Noble Binding, Tortoise Shell Binding, and Hemp Leaf Binding.
No experience necessary. All tools and materials are provided, including a selection of Japanese washi paper. Space is limited.
