About the event
World Collage Day is an annual, international celebration of collage, celebrated the second Saturday in May, originally initiated by Kolaj Magazine in 2018.
World Collage Day is an event that presents an opportunity to create as a community, to come together and make a whole from the sum of parts no one can imagine. Individuals of all ages are invited to come together and explore the art of collage making.
Join Downtown Artist Cooperative (DAC ) artists including Carmen Rein, Tricia Peery, Jennifer Pierstorff, Peggy Bonington, and Jane Olson for this free event that promises to be a fun-filled day of artistic expression and inspiration.
Don't miss this opportunity to discover the joys of collage making and meet these talented artists at this exciting free event!
Various Collage Techniques/Types Demonstrations will be held on the hour, including:, Matchbook Collage, Tea Bag Collage and Reduction Collage.
Supplies will be provided; participants are welcome to bring their own as well.
We will also build One Large Clarksville Community Collage for all participants to contribute to.
Come, have fun, relax, and collage with others across the planet…..
